Accident Benefits

Your own insurance policy contains mandatory coverage for Accident Benefits. The list of benefits available under this act can be found in the statutory Accident Benefits Schedule. This act protects pedestrians, drivers and passengers of vehicles. Accident benefit application must be filed within 30 business days of your accident. Most insurers however will accept delayed application with reasonable explanation for the delay. Accident benefits coverage only protect you for benefits that are not covered under your extended health coverage.
